Zubrzycki, Kuba

Born in 1981. Screenwriter, film director. He graduated from the Film Direction Department of the Lodz Film School. He directed plays in Powszechny Theater in Lodz and Szaniawski Theater in Wałbrzych and conducted classes addressed to young people in "Monar-Matarnia" addiction treatment center. He lives in Gdańsk.

Burzyńska, Anna

Playwright, writer, professor at the Faculty of Polish Studies at the Jagiellonian University, head of the Department of Literature Theory, and former literary director of the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Cracow. She is also the author of scholarly treatises and books on contemporary knowledge of literature, postmodern philosophy and postmodern art. She received numerous scientific, literary and dramaturgical awards. What’s more, she was a juror at many theatre and film festivals.

Grabowski, Artur (Art Grabov)

Artur Grabowski, born in 1967, a dramatist, essayist, translator and lecturer. Studied polish literature and philosophy. He’ s always been related to Cracow. His dramas were read and put on stage in Cracow, Lublin, Warsaw, Budapest, Chicago and Zagreb. In 2001 he represented Poland at the Festival of Central Europe in Cividale del Friulli, in Italy, with his drama Well.

Błażewicz, Andrzej

Born in 1996. Theatre director, playwright. He also publishes poetry and prose. Student of the last year of Theatre Directing at the National Academy of Theatre Arts in Cracow. Winner of the 30th edition of the National Contest for the Best Theatrical Play for Children and Youth organized by the Centre of Children Art in Poznań. Finalist of the Gdynia Drama Award 2019 and of the 10th and 11theditions of the “Metaphors of Reality” Contest. Winner of Anna and Piotr Dobrowolski’s “Sielasian Shakespeare” Contest.

Dowlasz, Inka

Inka Dowlasz, an author of theatre and tv scripts, she collaborates with Teatr Ludowy in Nowa Huta where she also directs plays as part of the Therapy Through Art Programme and the Improvisation Studio which organizes workshops that combine drama and psychology, as well as meetings, lectures and readings. She conducts “Role Construction” seminar at the theatre’s actors’ studio and at Jerzy Giedroyc Communication and Media School in Warsaw.

Papis, Jacek

Jacek Papis, born in 1969, a director, actor, writer, playwright, graduate of the Stage Direction Department at Cracow Drama School (1999) and of the Theatre Arts Department of Warsaw Drama Academy (1995). A co-founder of the Wytwórnia Theatre in Warsaw (which opened on November 5, 2005). Collaborated many times with Maja Komorowska in Warsaw and Krystian Lupa in Cracow. A winner of the Ministry of Culture scholarship for dramatic literature.

Born in 1983. Poet, stand-upper, playwright. A graduate of Polish philology at the University of Gdańsk. Winner of the Gdańsk City Award for Young Artists (2006), scholarship from the Fleszarowa-Muskat Foundation, distinguished in the national competition for modern comedy "Komediopisanie" (3rd edition 2010, Powszechny Theatre in Łódź) for the play How Gods Seduced written with Jerzy Wójcicki. Winner of the National Competition Złoty Środek Poezji Kutno 2006 for the best poetic debut of the year 2005.

Jakubowski, Jarosław

Jakubowski, Jarosław

Born in 1974 in Bydgoszcz. Poet, novelist, playwright. He studied construction at the Gdansk University of Technology and political science at the University of Gdansk. He has published several volumes of poems, prose and plays in anthologies: Generał i inne dramaty polityczne (The General and other political dramas) (ADiT, Warsaw 2016) and Prawda i inne dramaty (The truth and other dramas) (ADiT, Warsaw 2017). Four-time winner of the “Strzała Łuczniczki” Award for the best book of the year in Bydgoszcz.
